Really Smart Talking about Do-Not-Call

Kevin Drum over at Calpundit got a discussion going about the Do Not Call initiative. Someone over at National Review is uncomfortable with the idea that it's the governement coordinating this and put out a plaintive cry to libertarians to theorize how to do it without the government. Ideas range from absurd to stupid, with many side jaunts to loopy. Kevin's commentators, though, seem to be seeing clearer into one of the things bothering me most these days with this brilliant quote from craigie "...reducing everything to money, and the "freedom" to make it, isn't reconcilable with actual personal freedom, not to mention things like values, morals, love and family."
